About Us

The Heartland chapter began April 18, 1995 under the name Omaha Metro Women of Today. But as we began to include communities in the surrounding area we changed our name to Heartland Women of Today. We are a community service, personal enrichment and leadership training and organization. Our membership is open to anyone over the age of 18.

We have chapters in communities across the United States. Our mission is to improve our community, state, and nation, through community service, making our community a better place in which to live.

We hold Monthly Meetings, the Second Tuesday of the month. When needed we have project committee meetings, as well as socials that promote friendships.

The Heartland Women of Today offer you opportunities to:

  • Improve yourself and your community
  • Develop your leadership and communication skills
  • Enhance your employment qualifications
  • Learn and use management skills

  • Be recognized for your achievements
